1) Scope

These Terms apply to:

  • (a) use of our website and online quote/enquiry tool; and
  • (b) the supply of kitchen, door, and surface wrapping services and related work by WrapMySpace.

If there is any conflict, any written proposal or booking confirmation we provide will take precedence for that specific job.

2) Online Quotes and Estimates

Virtual estimates: Any estimate generated from our online form is based on the information and photos you provide. It is not a final price and may change after verification of measurements, condition, access, and materials.

Price changes: If the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, or if site conditions require additional preparation, materials, repairs, or additional items, we reserve the right to revise the price. We will explain any changes before proceeding.

Survey/verification: Where necessary, we may require an in-person or virtual (video) assessment before confirming a final price and installation date.

3) Booking, Deposits, and Scheduling

Deposit: A deposit of 20% is typically required to secure an installation date.

Holding a date: We may hold a provisional date for up to 72 hours. If the deposit is not received within this period, the date may be released.

Balance: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due within 24 hours of completion.

4) Payments

We accept payment via bank transfer (e-Transfer), debit/credit card, or financing (if available).
If you use third-party financing, the agreement is between you and the provider.

5) Your Responsibilities (Pre-Installation)

Clear and clean: All work surfaces must be cleared, cleaned, and degreased before our arrival.

Cleaning fee: If surfaces are not properly prepared, we may charge a cleaning fee of CAD $150 and/or reschedule the work.

Access and utilities: You must provide safe access, reasonable parking/loading, and electricity/lighting where required.

6) Installation Timing and Delays

Start times/ETA: Any start or completion times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to traffic, access issues, weather, or supplier constraints.

Material delays: If materials are delayed or discontinued, we may offer alternatives or reschedule the installation.

7) Colours, Samples, and Partial Matches

Colour selection: You are responsible for confirming colour choices. We recommend finalizing colours at least 14 days prior to installation.

Colour matching: For partial wraps, we cannot guarantee an exact match to existing finishes, but we will aim for the closest possible result.

8) Cancellations and Rescheduling

Consumer rights: You may have cancellation rights under applicable provincial consumer protection laws (e.g., Manitoba Consumer Protection legislation). These rights may vary depending on how the contract was formed (in-person, online, etc.).

Rescheduling: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to change your installation date. We will try to accommodate, subject to availability.

Late cancellations: If materials have already been ordered or time reserved, we may retain part or all of the deposit to cover reasonable costs incurred (materials, administration, scheduling).

If we cancel: If we cancel due to our own fault and cannot offer a reasonable alternative date, we will refund any deposit paid.

9) Aftercare and Warranty

Aftercare: We will provide care instructions. Failure to follow them may void the warranty.

Materials: Material performance (e.g., fading, discoloration) depends on manufacturer specifications and environmental conditions.

Workmanship warranty: We provide a 1-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion, subject to inspection and the exclusions below.

10) Existing Fixtures, Surfaces, and Limitations

Pre-existing issues: We are not responsible for underlying defects such as damaged surfaces, loose fittings, moisture issues, or poor finishes. Wrapping may reveal imperfections.

Breakage risk: Reasonable care is taken, but older or fragile components may break during removal. We will inform you if issues arise.

Paint lifting: There is a risk of paint lifting when adhesive materials are applied to weak or poorly bonded surfaces.

11) Customer Conduct

We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, unsafe, or threatening behaviour. If safety is compromised, we reserve the right to stop work immediately. Any outstanding costs may still be payable.

12) Privacy, Referrals, and Third-Party Sharing

Privacy: We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws (such as PIPEDA).

Referrals: If we are unable to service your area, we may offer to refer your enquiry to a trusted third-party installer, with your explicit consent.

Data sharing: If you opt in, we may share relevant details with a partner so they can contact you.

Referral fee: We may receive a referral fee if a partner completes work for you. Any contract will be between you and the partner.

Withdraw consent: You may withdraw consent before your information is shared by contacting us.

Marketing: Marketing communications require your separate consent and comply with Canadian anti-spam laws (CASL).

13) Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded under Canadian law (including liability for personal injury caused by negligence or fraud).
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version provided at the time of booking will apply unless otherwise agreed.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Manitoba.
